According to the National Health Services(NHS), a publicly funded healthcare system in England and one of the four National healthcare systems in united Kingdom, Sildanafil Citrate, medicine used to treat erectile dyfunction has mild side effects like a colour tinge to one's vision, dizziness and hot flushes a normal reaction that any person could get after taking any medicine.

The Uganda National Drug Authority(NDA) has warned the public against the use of m-magix coffee product claimed of keeping men strong.

According to a press release  by NDA, they took a laboratory analysis of m-magix coffee samples and results confirmed that the product is adulterated with Sildanafil Citrate.

NDA says that, Sildanafil Citrate is a drug for erectile dysfunction.

“It must be used under strict prescription by qualified personnel since it has serious side effects which include extreme abdominal complications, respiratory and heart problems,renal failure, and sometimes leading to coma and death.”

NHS notes that,

“one can only get severe side effects if they take the medicine without the doctor’s prescription or if they have other underlying conditions like sickle cell anaemia, leukaemia and multiple myeloma(cancer of the born marrow), have a heart problem.” www.nhs.uk.

The National Drug Authority further directed all pharmacies, drug shops, supermarkets,and the general merchandise shops to stop sell or stocking of this product.
